Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6 and 7, and the creators who win it are the ones who stop doing the work by hand. This guide walks through the whole loop in Prime Day Butler: find the deals worth posting, build the posts, and switch on Prime Day mode so they go out on a schedule while you shoot content. It works the same on Windows and Mac, because everything happens inside the app.

If you want to know what changed this season first, read What's New in Prime Day Butler. Otherwise, start at step 1.

Step 1: Unlock Prime Day Butler

Prime Day Butler ships hidden, so it will not be in your left nav until you switch it on.

  1. Open Settings, then Show / Hide Butlers.
  2. Switch on Prime Day Butler.
  3. Look in the left nav for the Prime Day Butler group. Inside it are Deal Finder and Prime Day Deals.

Prime Day Butler is a Pro feature, and it is included in your free trial.

Step 2: Feed it your sources

Deal Finder is strongest when it knows what you already have. Before your first run:

  • Sync Storefront Butler so it knows what content you have already made.
  • Sync Orders Butler if you want deals on products you own.
  • Sign in to Amazon Associates inside the app. The Deals Hub source reads your signed-in session, and it does not need a Creators API key.
  • Optional: add a Creators API key in API Integrations for fresh discoveries and the owned-product deal check.

Skip any of these and the workspace still runs. It just shows fewer rows.

Step 3: Find the deals

You have two ways in. Use one, or both.

Option A: Deal Finder. Open Prime Day Butler, then Deal Finder, and set your filters:

  • Min % off defaults to 20. Push it to 40 or 50 for a tighter list.
  • Max price ($) keeps you in your audience's impulse range.
  • Programs lets you show only Creator Connections, only SPCC, or rows with both.
  • Lowest all year only shows just the deals that beat the year's lowest price.

Click Run now. Every row is ranked by Est. earnings, and the tabs split the list into Upcoming, Quick wins (deals on products you already have content for), and Last-minute (deals on products you own that you have not covered yet). During the event, re-run every 2 to 4 hours, because prices change fast.

Option B: Prime Day Deals. Open Prime Day Deals and run Search Deals. It returns only Prime Big Deal Days deals from the Deals Hub catalog. Or open Promo Code Hub, then the Prime Day Deals Catalogue tab, click Refresh from Amazon, and filter with Live only, Prime Exclusive only, Creator Favorite only, and the rest.

Step 4: Send the best ones to your queue

From Deal Finder, tick the rows you want, or use Select visible to grab the whole filtered list. Then choose how ready they should be under Send as:

  • Drafts to review lands them in the queue as drafts, so you pick destinations before anything posts.
  • Ready to post sends them already pointed at your enabled Social Destinations.

Use Send deals to to make sure the target is your Prime Day Deals workspace, then click Send selected to Deals Butler. Each deal arrives with its affiliate link and caption, and the video or photo you already made for that product is attached automatically, matched by product ID.

Upcoming deals are embargoed until Amazon publishes them, so the app asks you to confirm before it queues one. Plan with them, but wait until a deal is live before you post it.

Step 5: Build the post

Open Prime Day Deals, go to Build Your Post, and use a Prime Day formula:

  1. Click a layout under Quick-start formulas. Pick from Prime Day price drops, Year-to-date low, Start and end dates, or Social proof.
  2. Edit the caption and pinned comment so it sounds like you.
  3. Keep the {image} chip in the layout so the product photo goes out with the post.
  4. Click Preview to see exactly what will be posted.

A common gotcha: if you build a caption only from pills in the Hook and Call to action library, you can end up with a short text-only line such as "Link in the first comment." If a post looks bare, switch to a Quick-start formula, remove the Hook and Call to action pills, drag in the deal pills you want, and keep the {image} chip.

The Prime pills (Starts, Year-to-Date Low, % Below YTD Low, Deal Badge) drop out on their own when a deal has no data for them.

Step 6: Check your schedule and destinations

The first time you open Prime Day Deals, your Deals Butler schedule is copied in with auto-post off. Open the hub's Scheduler tab and check how often it posts and your start time. Then confirm your destinations under Social Destinations: Facebook groups and pages, Instagram, and the rest.

Before you rely on it, use Post one now to send a single test post and check that it looks right.

Step 7: Turn on Prime Day mode

This is the switch that turns your queue into automatic posting.

  1. Open Deals Butler in the left nav, then the Scheduler tab.
  2. Find the Prime Day mode card and tick Post my Prime Day deals instead.
  3. Make sure auto-post is on in the Scheduler. Nothing goes out without it.
  4. Under Walmart deals during Prime Day mode, choose whether to keep your Walmart Fall Deals Event deals going, keep all your Walmart deals going, or pause Walmart too.

While the mode is on, your Prime Day deals post and your regular Amazon deals pause, so the two never compete. Want it fully hands-off next time? Also tick Start Prime Day mode by itself when the event begins, and it will switch on at midnight Pacific on the first day of the event.

Step 8: Let it end itself

When the event is over, or your Prime queue runs out, Prime Day mode turns itself off and a toast tells you why. Your regular deals start posting again. If you would rather turn it off yourself, open Deals Butler and click Turn off Prime Day mode in the banner at the top.

The short version

  1. Settings, Show / Hide Butlers, switch on Prime Day Butler.
  2. Sync Storefront Butler and Orders Butler, and sign in to Amazon Associates in the app.
  3. Find deals with Run now in Deal Finder, or Search Deals in Prime Day Deals.
  4. Tick rows and click Send selected to Deals Butler.
  5. Build posts with a Prime Day Quick-start formula and keep the {image} chip.
  6. Check the Scheduler and destinations, then try Post one now.
  7. Tick Post my Prime Day deals instead in the Prime Day mode card.
  8. Let it turn itself off when the event ends.

If something looks off

  • Nothing is posting. Check that auto-post is on in the Scheduler, and that Prime Day mode is on with deals waiting in the Prime queue.
  • Your regular deals stopped. That is expected while Prime Day mode is on. Turn it off, or wait for it to end.
  • The Deals Hub rows are missing. Open Amazon Associates in the app once to refresh your signed-in session, then run again.
  • Deal Finder shows few rows. Lower Min % off, or sync Storefront Butler and Orders Butler so it has more to work with.

For every setting and label, see the Prime Day Butler tutorial and the Deals Butler tutorial. Not set up yet? Start your free trial and you can have this running before the event ends.
