Prime Big Deal Days is here, and Prime Day Butler got a lot smarter in time for it. The short version: it finds the deals, keeps them in their own queue, and can now switch your posting over to event mode and back on its own. If you used Prime Day Butler earlier this year, a few things look different, so here is what changed.

Two workspaces, one Prime Day Butler group

Open the left nav and you will find Prime Day Butler as its own group with two workspaces inside:

  • Deal Finder is the seasonal radar you already know. It pulls deals from content you already made, products you own, fresh Creators API discoveries, and the Amazon Associates Deals Hub, then ranks every row by estimated earnings.
  • Prime Day Deals is new. It is a Deals Butler workspace with its own queue, so your event deals never get tangled up with your everyday ones.

Deal Finder now sends to your Prime Day queue by default while a Prime event is running. A Send deals to picker lets you choose a different Deals Butler workspace any time.

Prime Day mode now runs itself

Prime Day mode lives on the Prime Day mode card in the Deals Butler Scheduler tab. Tick Post my Prime Day deals instead and your regular deals pause while your Prime Day deals post on the same schedule and to the same destinations. Three upgrades make it nearly hands-off:

  • Start by itself. Tick Start Prime Day mode by itself when the event begins and it switches on at midnight Pacific on the first day of the event, as long as you have Prime Day deals scheduled. If you turn it off yourself during the event, it stays off.
  • Stop by itself. When the event ends, or your Prime Day deals run out, the mode turns itself off, a short toast tells you why, and your regular deals start posting again.
  • Reminder banners. If you would rather flip it yourself, a banner appears the day before the event with Show me where, and another after it ends with Show me how. They only nudge creators who are actively auto-posting Amazon deals.

Walmart runs its own event at the same time, so the card also has a Walmart deals during Prime Day mode dropdown. Choose to keep posting your Walmart Fall Deals Event deals (the default), keep posting all your Walmart deals, or pause Walmart too. Your regular Amazon deals pause either way.

A catalog built for the event

The Prime Day Deals workspace comes with tools that only show event deals:

  • Search Deals returns only Prime Big Deal Days deals from the Deals Hub catalog. Keywords narrow it, and your price, percent off, and exclusion settings still apply.
  • The Prime Day Deals Catalogue tab in the Promo Code Hub opens with Prime Big Deal Days pre-ticked. Filter by Live only, Upcoming only, Lowest all year only, Prime Exclusive only, Creator Favorite only, Creator Connections only, SPCC only, and Hide sent.
  • Promo code and coupon tools are hidden here, because they do not apply to event deals.
  • Walmart Deals gets an Event Deals tab for the Walmart Fall Deals Event, so you can pick deals and add them to your queue.

When you first open Prime Day Deals, your Deals Butler schedule is copied in with auto-post switched off. That is on purpose: check how often it posts and when it starts before you turn Prime Day mode on.

Event-ready posts: formulas, pills, and call-to-actions

Building a post in a Prime Day workspace is faster now:

  • Quick-start formulas in Build Your Post come in four Prime groups: Prime Day price drops, Year-to-date low, Start and end dates, and Social proof. Click one to fill the caption and pinned comment, then edit anything you like.
  • New pills in the tray include Starts, Year-to-Date Low, % Below YTD Low, and Deal Badge. If a deal has no data for one of them, that line drops out on its own, so you never post a stranded label.
  • The Call to action pill rotates Prime lines such as "Prime deal, link in the first comment" instead of the regular ones. Lines you wrote yourself are kept.

The green Lowest all year badge in Deal Finder still marks deals priced below the year's low. It is the single best reason to post a deal, and there is a Lowest all year only filter to show just those.

Print your content and repost lists

Deal Finder can now print two top-60 checklists, ranked by estimated earnings and limited to live or upcoming deals:

  • Print content list shows the deals you have no content for yet, so you know exactly what to film or photograph.
  • Print repost list shows deals on products you already have content or a post for, so you can resurface what you already made.

Tape the first one next to your camera and the second one next to your scheduler.

One thing to keep in mind

Upcoming deal prices and dates are confidential until Amazon publishes them. Prime Day Butler marks upcoming rows and asks you to confirm before you queue one, so you plan ahead without posting embargoed pricing early.
