The wasted afternoon. You film a product, edit it, post it, and it sells nothing. It was never selling to begin with. Product Research tells you whether a product is moving before you spend a day on it.
Power User feature. Quick note on plans. Product Research is a Power User feature. On the Beginner plan it is hidden from the sidebar. Upgrade any time in Settings, under Subscription.
It builds itself. You do not add products. The browser extension records every Amazon product page you open: the price, the sales rank, and the bought-in-past-month figure. Pair the extension in Settings and the library fills as you browse.
Two numbers. Products tracked and history points. The more you browse, the sharper the estimates get.
Your audience. Your audience is new. Set the mix of who follows you, or press a quick start like Mostly Facebook, and every estimate leans toward your own audience.
Refresh. Refresh re-reads the library. It is completely safe and changes nothing.
The table. Every product you have browsed: price, rank, bought per month, estimated sales and revenue, when it was last seen, the likely shopper, and the best format to make for it. A squiggle in front of a number means it is an estimate.
Search and filters. Search by title, brand or product code. Filter by category, brand, minimum revenue, likely shopper, or best format.
Missing best format. Missing best format is the useful one: products whose best format you have not made yet. That is your to-film list.
View history. View history on a row opens the charts. The top one is price over time, with a green dot on the lowest, so you can tell a real deal from a permanent price.
The chart that decides. The sales-rank chart is drawn so up means selling better. A rising line is a product gaining momentum, and that is the one that decides whether you film it.
Seasonal. Once there is a prior year of history, a seasonal badge says whether it sells stronger, weaker or the same at this time of year.
Next step. Your next step: pair the extension, browse the products you are considering a few times over the coming weeks, then filter to Missing best format.
