Daily Deals Butler — harvest Amazon deals and post them automatically
End-to-end automation: filter Amazon deals on price + discount + commission, build your post template, pick social destinations, and let the scheduler do the rest.
What Daily Deals Butler does
Daily Deals Butler is the most complete automation in InfluencerButler. It runs a full pipeline in one workspace:
- Harvest — pulls active Amazon deals matching your filters (discount %, commission floor, price range, keywords, brand).
- Build the post — wraps each deal in your template with hashtags, affiliate links, and optional AI-generated images.
- Schedule — posts to your connected social destinations (Instagram, Facebook groups + pages, Telegram, Reddit, Benable) on whatever per-platform cadence you set.
You set it up once and it ticks along — most users only revisit it to refine filters or add a new social destination.
Before you start
- Amazon affiliate tag configured (Settings → Amazon).
- CC Storefront ID set in the topbar (so commission data is accurate).
- At least one social destination connected in the Social Destinations tab. Telegram is the simplest first destination — the bot setup is a one-time paste.
- Data Refresh Butler active (or coupled by default) — Daily Deals reads from the catalogs Data Refresh Butler maintains.
Running your first harvest
The workspace opens to a chip-bar with 10 tabs. The setup flow follows them left-to-right:
- Deal Filters — start with the defaults: discount ≥30%, all categories, all commission rates. Click Search Deals. Confirm you see results before tightening filters.
- Build Your Post — the post template uses placeholders like
{title},{price},{discount},{deeplink}. Edit the template, hit Preview to see how a real deal renders. - Social Destinations — connect at least one. Each platform has its own sub-flow (Telegram bot token, Facebook page picker, Instagram session) — the workspace explains each one inline.
- Scheduler — turn on the Post scheduler and pick a cadence. The defaults are conservative: groups every 1h, pages every 2h, Telegram every 15 min, Reddit/Instagram off.
- Click Run now under Harvest to do one search-and-post round so you can see end-to-end behavior before turning on the schedule.
Filter presets
The active preset (default named default) saves your filter config. You can have multiple presets for different niches — say one for "tech under $50" and one for "home decor under $100" — and swap between them from the Overview tab. Clones (a paid add-on) give each clone its own preset store so you can run multiple niches in parallel with no preset switching.
Tuning over time
- percentOffMin in the preset — start at 30%, raise to 40-50% once you have a sense of which discount threshold gets engagement.
- trackingDays — how many days a deal sticks around in the "tracked" history before being eligible to re-post. Default 14.
- excludeLastMonth — once on, won't re-post any deal that posted in the last 30 days. Keeps your feed feeling fresh.
- perDestination cadences — Telegram tolerates much higher volume than Instagram. Don't apply Telegram's 15-min cadence to Instagram or you'll get rate-limited.
Where the data goes
Harvested deals live in the preseed cache; posted-deal history lives in {userData}/InfluencerButler/workspaces/preseed/data/daily-deals/. The Console Log tab streams every post attempt + outcome.
Common gotchas
- "No deals match your filters" — usually a too-narrow filter combo. Drop one filter at a time until results return.
- Posts fail silently to Telegram — bot token revoked or chat permissions changed. Re-paste the bot token in Social Destinations.
- Instagram posts go to message requests, not inbox — that's not a Daily Deals issue; that's Instagram's own routing for accounts you don't follow.
- Scheduler appears stopped — check the Scheduler tab's status banner. The runner stops itself if it detects bad credentials and reports the reason there.
Clones (paid)
Daily Deals supports clones at $24.99/mo each — each clone is a completely independent workspace with its own filters, destinations, and post history. Use clones if you actively run more than one niche; otherwise, presets in a single workspace handle most cases.
